Nursery Assistant/EYFS Specialist!

Are you a nurturing and dedicated individual with a passion for early years education? Do you have experience working with children with pre-diagnosed Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant/EYFS Specialist to join our team and work 1:1 with children with pre-diagnosed ASC. At Engage Education, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

As a Nursery Assistant/EYFS Specialist with us, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 support and guidance to children with pre-diagnosed ASC, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that promote social interaction, communication, and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team and external professionals to create individualized support plans and track progress.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.
  • Continuously reflect on practice and participate in training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting children with ASC.

We are looking for candidates who are compassionate, patient, and have a genuine interest in supporting children with ASC. Previous experience working in a nursery setting or with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided.

In return, we offer a competitive salary, opportunities for professional development, and a supportive working environment where your contributions are valued and recognized.

If you are ready to make a positive difference in the lives of children with ASC and embark on a rewarding career in early years education, we would love to hear from you!

To apply, please send your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you are passionate about working with children with ASC.
