Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

In this role you will embody all the company's values, and set the tone for the experience of all visitors – from employees, through to a Founder coming to pitch for funding for the first time – you will provide first-class service, and see the reception desk as a fundamental part of the business. While the Front of House will be this person's top priority, and the love and desire to deliver a first-class client service will be paramount for this role - this exciting position also encompasses office administration, events, and team assistant duties.

They are looking for someone with the scope to develop down the EA route in the years to come, and will help you achieve this.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manning the phones & being the first point of call for all guests visiting the office – gatekeeping where necessary.
  • Manage busy meeting room booking system, ensuring no meeting room clashes, and anticipating any overflows.
  • Ensure all areas of the office are well-presented, maintained, and ordering stock where needed to ensure everything is filled.
  • Screen and deliver inbound post, and organising external couriers.
  • Manage internal communications with the team.
  • Leading on internal event set-ups, and assisting with ad hoc event preparation: Making & organising name badges, creating holding slides, printing menus etc.
  • Assisting with venue sourcing and organisation of external events, dinners and drinks (London and overseas).
  • Team assistant duties including: Diary management and scheduling of external and internal meetings, covering the EA team for holidays and excess workload, expense reporting, securing restaurant and private dining reservations, booking international travel.
  • Supporting with ad hoc projects as needed.
