RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing security company based in Wilmslow who are recruiting a Management Accountant due to company growth. This is a brand new role and a fantastic opportunity for a driven Management Accountant who would like to progress, grow and develop within the business. This is a great time to join the company at an exciting time for the business. You will work closely with and support the Financial Controller on a daily basis.

The Role
- To support the finance manager with the overseeing and management of the finance department
- Monthly preparation of management accounts
- Bank reconciliations
- Accruals & prepayments
- Preparation of monthly packs for directors and business managers
- Balance sheet reconciliations including inter-company accounts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
- Support in the development and training of an assistant management accountant
The Person
- At least 2 years experience as an assistant/management accountant
- Part qualified CIMA or ACCA and studying/finalist is preferred
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to details and accuracy
- Use of SAGE would be an advantage but not essential
