An independent UK refrigeration company is seeking Industrial Refrigeration Engineers to visit and service clients' systems in the south and southeast of England.
This organisation specializes in the design, installation, servicing, and maintenance of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems utilizing Ammonia, CO2, HC, HFO, and HFC refrigerants. The company prides itself on being a specialist in industrial and commercial refrigeration services, catering to markets such as the Food Processing Industry, Ice Cream and Dairy Industry, Cold Storage and Chill Distribution Centres, Brewery Industry, Plastic Extrusion Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry, and Petrochemical Industry. The full-time role is located covering various sites in East Anglia, London and southeast with the potential for national and overseas travel to commission installations globally.
Role Description
The Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Providing service, installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems
Qualifications
- Previous industrial or commercial refrigeration experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on their feet
- Strong technical abilities
- Excellent communication and team-working skills, able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving license
- Safe Handling of Refrigerants
- Good knowledge of PLC systems, practical experience preferred
- Professional and proactive attitude, with an ability to adapt and work outside their comfort zone
- Training will be provided as required
