The team at NET Recruit are supporting a housing business that is seeking a HR Business Partner to join the team in the Bournemouth area. The business is a highly successful organisation operating within the housing industry, with a core mission in mind to aid in providing housing opportunities for as many people as possible. The business is extremely aware of its impact in the local area and consistently work towards supporting the drive to decrease homelessness in the region.

This role will be vital in the ongoing organisational development of the business, and will provide key support to the Head of HR in developing and deploying successful HR strategies, aimed at providing excellent employee engagement, as well as improving their procedures, particularly surrounding recruitment.

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Head of HR in developing a strong people strategy
  • Collaborating in strengthening Disability Confident Employment and Youth Employment Charter commitments
  • Handling employee relation cases, including complex ones or grievances with a professional and diligent attitude
  • Supporting on recruitment efforts, ensuring these have solid safeguarding measures in place
  • Providing assistance with change management and TUPE activities
  • Management of employee absences, monitoring repeated absences and actioning where appropriate
  • Handling employee engagement and capability, taking onboard any feedback and opinions
  • Supporting the wider HR team on additional duties where appropriate, including updating of policies & procedures

What you will need to Apply:

The ideal candidate for this role will be a CIPD Level 5 and above qualified HR professional with significant, varied experience which should including employee relations management, recruitment practices and processes, change management, consultations, and TUPE. A commercial mindset, which previous exposure to formulating HR strategies would be sought after too. Excellent communication skills are required, as well as a good aptitude for learning systems.

What you will get in Return:

For the successful candidate, a starting salary, potentially in the region of £43,000 would be on offer, depending on previous relevant experience to this role.
