3 month initial contract with the view of extension
Pay : £23.69 - £32 per hour
Hybrid working / Islington (min 2 days on site per week)
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our clients team as an Occupational Therapist for a 3 month initial contract, with potential for extension.
Responsibilities:
- Be expected to care coordinate a caseload of people with varied complexity of needs.
- Caseload of up to 12 cases per month ; mixture of manual handling, shower and stairlift adaptations, bed rails risk assessments, ramps.
- Actively identify and maximise opportunities to re-enable service users to ensure that they continue as long as possible to live independent lives and maximise their choice and control.
- Manage all clinical and professional aspects of complex casework, where appropriate, using evidence-based occupational therapy assessment, intervention, planning and reviewing/evaluation skills.
Requirements:
- Must have at least Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and have HCPC registration.
- Need to be a Best Interest Assessor or willing to train
- Experience of working with adults in a Social Services/ Voluntary Agency
