Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Minimum 25 hours per week, across at least 4 days)

Salary:

  • Part-Time: £16,000 - £17,000 (based on a 25-hour week)
  • Full-Time: Up to £25,000 (based on full-time hours)

What You'll Do:

  • Invoice Processing: Handle purchase ledger invoices, keep the invoice register up to date, and ensure accuracy through our authorisation controls.
  • Payments Management: Assist with twice-monthly payment runs and verify remittance advice against supplier invoices—accuracy is key!
  • Supplier Relations: Monitor supplier statements, file invoices, and ensure queries are resolved swiftly.
  • Team Player: Provide holiday and sickness cover for sales ledger, credit control, and other accounts department tasks.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Support the accounts team with various projects and responsibilities.

Your Skills & Qualities:

  • Numerate and detail-oriented with a solid understanding of Excel (experience with accounting software is a plus!)
  • A team player eager to learn new skills and take initiative.
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
