Compliance Officer
on behalf of our esteemed client.
Salary:
Competitive salary of £28,000 to £30,000
Located:
Walsall.
Employment Type:
Maternity Cover, 9-12 months.
Job Purpose
Supporting the Head of Skills and Performance in ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures across various business areas. This includes overseeing the establishment and implementation of policies and ensuring their proper execution to enhance the customer experience during program participation or recruitment processes.
Professional Responsibilities
- Take responsibility of compliance policies and protocols on behalf of your area within the company.
- To develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the organisation operates in accordance with the contract.
- Determine a compliance tracking system.
- Remain up to date on laws and changes in contract's related to the organisation and update policies accordingly.
- Perform compliance audits to determine whether establish protocols are being followed and where they can be improved.
- Maintain up to date written documentation and policies related to the organization's business activities.
- Create compliance resource library for staff members to reference when they have questions.
- Undertake other such duties as requested which are reasonable and appropriate to the role.

- To support in business growth activities including contributing to funding applications.
- To ensure awareness and adherence to health and safety, safeguarding and GDPR legislation and company procedures.
- To support the organisation in achieving key accreditation's as required, including but not limited to Investors in People, Matrix, Leaders in Diversity, Disability Confident, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 45001.
- To take accountability of deadlines and targets set by the line manager and ensure that they are met as set.
