About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning Learning & Development team, as part of a team of Design & Delivery Specialists on a 9-12 month fixed term contract basis, as a Learning & Development Content Specialist. Lining into the Learning and Development Manager, you will be responsible for designing and delivering learning content for our global business units.

You will scope, design, and create insight-led learning solutions that meet the needs of our customers, team members and the business.

  • Design and deliver insight-led digital and face-to-face learning for a wide range of audiences
  • Partner across the L&D function and key business stakeholders to determine and consult on the best way to design and deliver fit for purpose learning, meeting the key learning needs
  • Plan and implement insight gathering from a wide range of sources, using data to make informed design decisions and to ensure a learner-centric design
  • Design and build learning that's the best fit for the learner in terms of complexity, detail and timings
  • Build great relationships with learners, subject matter experts and stakeholders of all levels, in all business units, to enable a collaborative design process
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to an agile working environment
  • Plan projects effectively, holding self and others to account
  • Evaluate the impact of learning that contributes to continuous improvement, as well as measuring and demonstrating the return on investment to the business

What you'll need to have

  • An understanding of Learning Management Systems and Learning Experience Platforms
  • Experience in designing and delivering learning initiatives
  • Ability to translate complex concepts/topics into usable and accessible learning for all
  • Ability to use a variety of sources to effectively gain insights from learning audiences, the business and external sources to inform learning design
  • Passion to learn about and implement the latest thinking in L&D, digital design, delivery, learning theories and models
  • Passion for self-development, to learn and upskill self in any gaps or developments in digital learning skills, graphic design, video and animation
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong project planning and co-ordination skills
  • An understanding of learning evaluation and Return on Investment measures, with the ability to interpret the results and take action

It would be great if you also have

  • High level of expertise in learning design and delivery with experience of tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Storyline and Page Tiger
