JOB TITLE: Field Service/Workshop Engineer
LOCATION: Lutterworth
SALARY: up to £34,000
WAY OF WORKING: Full time | Permanent | 08:30 - 17:00
THE BUSINESS:
C4S Search are proud to be partnering with a sustainable energy company. Their main focus is manufacturing solar powered hybrid generators which can run on diesel and solar power. They are often used in construction, new housing builds and with the highways agency.
THE FIELD SERVICE/WORKSHOP ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:
- Perform regular maintenance and servicing of assets according to scheduled plans, and carry out repairs at various customer locations.
- Respond promptly to callouts within the Midlands and across the UK as needed, ensuring minimal downtime for customer assets.
- Prepare rental equipment for upcoming hires at our facility in Lutterworth, Coventry.
- Visit customer sites to conduct equipment handovers and assist with setup based on their specific requirements.
- Transport equipment to and from job sites as necessary.
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in mechanical or auto electrical engineering.
- Experience with diesel engines and single-phase generators/inverters.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Capable of managing and prioritizing workload, with quick problem-solving skills for diverse challenges.
- Flexibility to travel and stay overnight as required by the business.
- Must hold a clean and valid driving license.
