Job Purpose
- Lead service delivery across the firm, ensuring Managers are meeting expectations, deadlines, and budgets
- Managing a varied and significant portfolio, championing service excellence at every step
- Implement initiatives through to completion, responsible for project management and due diligence
- Work alongside Managers to oversee tax and accounts departments, ensuring clients receive a comprehensive service
- Preparation of accounts for larger corporate clients
- Manage WIP reporting and align workflow with KPIs, providing updates to Partners
- Provide appraisals, training and development for colleagues and team members
- Empower junior staff by championing career development and skill-sharing
- Showcase the firm at networking and business events, identifying new business opportunities
- Seek opportunities to introduce and cross-sell company services to new and existing clients
- Display innovative and creative business acumen to help propel the firm's success

What are we looking for?
- FCCA / ACA / ACCA / CA qualified
- Qualified by mixed tax, audit and accounts experience also considered
- At least 10 years' managing a portfolio within UK practice
- A rich track record of successful leadership and team management
- An analytical and strategic thinker with good commercial acumen
- Strong business development skills
- A hands-on, can-do attitude to problem-solving
- Outstanding communication and advisory skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to produce work in a timely manner
- Ability to win new business and scope out opportunities
