Commercial Planner Luxury Eyewear

We are looking for a Commercial Planner to join a Commercial Team. This role will involve working very closely with the Commercial teams and will service the UK and Nordics markets.

Your main responsibility would be planning and forecasting the sales on a weekly and monthly basis. This would include business partnering with teams locally and with HQ based in Italy.

Description

  • Working closely with the Regional Managing Director to drive business performance.
  • Business Partner with Commercial Heads, support with reports and analysis as required and challenge where necessary to drive sales.
  • Own and effectively execute the Board monthly and weekly planning process.
  • Own the Budget and Forecasting process for the region.
  • Own & analyse forecast updates/processes for Product Ranking activities.
  • Responsible for identifying, monitoring, and reporting of the key KPIs.
  • Own and update the dashboard highlighting performance vs Budget and prior years.
  • Eliminate any gaps and disconnection between operations and planning activities.
  • Building commercial terms and reporting on the impact on the business performance.
  • Partnering with the Commercial team to support and drive anticipations.
  • Tracking and Reporting on the Distribution at Brand level.
  • Assist with building year end discount targets for the customers to drive performance.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial deep dives as necessary to highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Partnering with Demand Planning teams to forecast production requirements.
  • Build and Manage Reports to communicate current trends and to go targets.
  • Support Accounting team with Bonus and Commission calculations for the Sales team.
  • Demonstrate well-developed analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills including managing multiple tasks concurrently to meet tight deadlines.
  • Undertake Adhoc projects as necessary.

Profile

A successful Commercial Planner should have:

  • Retail Merchandising or Accountancy experience (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or currently in course to achieve one of these).
  • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management & Business Partnering Skills.
  • Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills.
  • Advanced Excel Skills.
