Grupo Bimbo operates in over 33 countries and is bringing the production of their globally renowned snack, Takis, to the UK for the first time! This new facility represents a significant investment in the UK market and will create over 100 jobs across various roles.

Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Engineering Stores Coordinator to join the team at this exciting new facility. Reporting directly to the Engineering Lead, this role is crucial in ensuring that the engineering stores are managed efficiently to maintain the highest standards of quality and service for the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organise the engineering stores, ensuring timely ordering and receipting of parts.
- Source alternative parts when items become obsolete.
- Maintain correct stock levels and ensure the stores area is tidy and safe at all times.
- Provide reports related to stock control and expenditure to the Engineering Lead.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and assist with stock movement reviews.
- Support other departments with O Cloud ordering as needed.
- Promote a safety performance culture, reporting health and safety concerns as they arise.
- Assist in completing risk assessments and investigating health and safety incidents.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a stores environment, with a good knowledge of engineering parts and suppliers.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Maximo.
- Ability to work under pressure, re-prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible, with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised, and keen on identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Desirable: Experience in setting up a stores department.
