UK Technical Support Spare Parts Specialist

Harlow, Essex

Our client is the leading service provider of Managed Equipment Services (MES) for the NHS and the private health sector in the UK. Their long-term partnerships span critical clinical areas such as radiology, radiotherapy, cardiology, endoscopy and biomedical services. They are currently looking for a Technical Support Spare Parts Specialist based at their offices in Harlow, Essex

To be considered for this role you would have full understanding of e-quip and D365 ordering systems along with inventory and procurement experience.

Please Note - You must have a minimum of 3 years UK based work experience to be submitted for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage e-quip spare parts data including the quality of data relating to spare parts and suppliers
  • Assist Procurement with spare part identification, liaise with OEMs to acquire accurate part descriptions and pricing
  • Responsible for keeping D365 updated with biomed spare parts in line with e-quip
  • Enhance spare part data by linking to models of equipment and where necessary Photo's
  • Perform data mining activities on a variety of sources producing reports as required
  • Assist approvers in managing changes to orders
  • Work with Procurement to control pricing and preferred suppliers
  • Undertake other reasonable tasks as directed by UK Technical Support Manager
  • Manage agreed financial approval levels within e-quip
  • Comply with the Quality Assurance and Environmental, Health & Safety policies, and work to maintain a high standard of customer service and protect your health and safety as well as that of your colleagues, our customers, and members of the public. Promptly raise any concerns regarding potential violations of the policies

Key Accountabilities

  • Directly support Procurement activities undertaken by the Technical Support team.
  • Fully understand e-quip & D365 ordering systems.
  • Liaise with relevant line managers to process biomed orders

Performance Indicators

  • Innovate and streamline processes to ensure a timely response to requests for information, and safeguard data integrity

Essential Qualifications

  • HNC/D Electronics or equivalent
  • Degree (Hons) in Electronics or equivalent - Desirable
  • Formal training technical training with a relevant manufacturer

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Inventory experience
  • Attention to detail / Accurate record keeping
  • Ability to manage substantial workloads, prioritising as appropriate
  • Excellent Time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Applications
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team
