Management Accountant | £35,000 - £40,000 | 9-month FTC | Manchester | Hybrid:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public-sector organisation in Manchester who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to their team for a 9 month FTC. The role offers hybrid working/flexi-time, generous annual leave and other great benefits.
Duties:
- Responsible for monitoring revenue and capital budgets
- Provide support and advice for the wider business, including colleagues with a non-financial background
- Understand guidelines and regulations for financial reporting
- Managing numerous cost centres within the organisation
- Managing and allocating government grants
Experience:
- Previous experience working in the wider public sector as a Management Accountant or a similar position
- Strong experience managing government grants and liaising with project managers
- Experience managing multiple cost centres and has the ability to work self sufficiently
- Advanced excel skills and strong financial system knowledge
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
