Halliday Marx have partnered with a growing European Hospitality Organisation to recruit a German Speaking Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper on an initial 6 month contract.
This role is a FULLY REMOTE working role.
Your key duties and responsibilities will include;
- Raise sales invoices ensuring all details are accurately posted within a timely manner
- Allocation of all incoming payments within a timely fashion
- Manage the Accounts Inbox ensuring all queries are dealt with in a timely fashion
- Monthly and Quarterly revenue reconciliations
- Multi-currency bank reconciliations
- VAT Returns
- Manage employee expenses and credit card reconciliations
- Support the Finance Manager with revenue budgeting and forecasting
- Support the business with payroll
- Adhoc duties as required
The Successful Candidate;
- Fluent in the German Language (Written, Spoken and Reading)
- Part Qualified Accountant or relevant experience within a similar role (i.e. Bookkeeper)
- Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Reconciliation duties
- Good Communication skills
- Excellent team player who can work autonomously and a collectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good working Excel skills
