German Speaking Bookkeeper

Halliday Marx have partnered with a growing European Hospitality Organisation to recruit a German Speaking Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper on an initial 6 month contract.

This role is a FULLY REMOTE working role.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Raise sales invoices ensuring all details are accurately posted within a timely manner
  • Allocation of all incoming payments within a timely fashion
  • Manage the Accounts Inbox ensuring all queries are dealt with in a timely fashion
  • Monthly and Quarterly revenue reconciliations
  • Multi-currency bank reconciliations
  • VAT Returns
  • Manage employee expenses and credit card reconciliations
  • Support the Finance Manager with revenue budgeting and forecasting
  • Support the business with payroll
  • Adhoc duties as required

The Successful Candidate;

  • Fluent in the German Language (Written, Spoken and Reading)
  • Part Qualified Accountant or relevant experience within a similar role (i.e. Bookkeeper)
  • Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Reconciliation duties
  • Good Communication skills
  • Excellent team player who can work autonomously and a collectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good working Excel skills
