Maintenance Technician/Fitter
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon, Long Marston, GB, CV37 8AQ
Working Hours: 40 hours per week - Shift pattern: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00
Salary: £14.93 per hour (£31,000 per annum)
My client is looking to recruit a skilled Maintenance Technician/Fitter to assist with the maintenance and day-to-day operation of fixed plant and machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that equipment reliability is maximised, contributing to maintaining high levels of production output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond immediately to plant breakdowns and assist in resolving issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform repairs on machinery and maintain site facilities, tooling, and equipment.
- Identify and suggest improvements to the reliability, efficiency, and performance of site equipment, reporting these to Site Management.
- Provide technical support to Supervisors in the operation of plant machinery.
- Assist in maintaining plant availability and meeting production targets.
- Comply with all relevant legislation and company standards.
- Follow company policies related to Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Community.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the client.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in medium to heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices.
- FLT licence is desirable.
- Experience and qualifications in welding and fabrication are beneficial.
- Completion of a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification is required.
- Electrical qualifications would be advantageous.
