Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting an Accounts admin assistant in Hemel

Role Overview:

  • Working Hours: 08:30 to 17:00 (1-hour lunch paid), totaling 7.5 hours per day.
  • Clearance Requirement: Must be BPSS Cleared to come onto the site.
  • Experience: 4 years in the UK or additional checks in place.
  • Employment Type: Temporary basis only.
  • Pay: £13.73 per hour (SVS Rate 1).
  • Must have either Oracle/SAP experience

Position Accountability's:

  1. Process work in line with agreed procedures, business rules, or scripts. This includes handling queries received via emails, replying appropriately, and taking messages.
  2. Process transactions and applications using an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) system.
  3. Learn procedures and understand parameters for producing quality output.
  4. Resolve queries and escalate as necessary (e.g., to a team leader or manager).
  5. Schedule and prioritize allocated work daily.
  6. Distribute information and collaborate with other team members or groups.
  7. Identify areas for improvement.
  8. Maintain and update information in databases or manually.
  9. Provide additional administrative support when required by line management.
  10. Liaise with internal and external clients.
  11. Print and post data, reports, and invoices daily.
  12. Maintain records for audit purposes.
  13. Ensure deadlines are met.
  14. Handle cash and perform payment reconciliation.
