The Support Worker role:
The Ordinary Life Project Association (OLPA) have a 3 bedded specialist service in Devizes for people with a Learning Disability who have developed dementia.
If you are interested in this specialist area of work we are looking for Day Support Workers and Waking Night Support Worker.
As a Support Worker you will be a key member of the team providing high standards of person centred care to the people we support. Interacting and communicating with the people we support in a way that promotes dignity and respect at all times.
No experience is necessary as OLPA will offer their Support Worker:
- £22,368.00 per annum for full time
- a comprehensive induction package incorporating the Care Certificate, all mandatory training and Diploma as well as a wide variety of in house and external training
- Commitment and support with ongoing training
- Pension
- 30 days holiday rising to 35 days
- Blue Light card
- Enhanced disclosure cost paid
Employment in these posts is subject to two satisfactory references and an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
You will need to be flexible and able to work shifts including some weekends, bank holidays and evenings/sleep ins working within a 24/7 rota.
