UCH Logistics is a dynamic, customer focused provider of specialist transport services to the airfreight industry. We are now seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives for our Late Shift operation on a full time, permanent basis at our Warehouse on Manchester Airport.
This is a varied role and will include, but is not limited to the following:
- Operating a Fork Lift Truck to safely unload, load and move freight
- Checking in and booking in shipments on our in-house system
- Unloading and loading freight from Company and third party vehicles (including double deck trailers)
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept in a safe, tidy manner
- Carrying out a variety of adhoc warehouse-related tasks
The right candidates must have:
- Excellent Forklift driving experience
- A 5 year checkable work/location history
The right candidates will ideally have:
- Airfreight/Logistics industry experience would be an advantage
- An enjoyment of physical and varied work
- Great customer service and team working skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach and the ability to make a valuable contribution to this busy team.
In return, we are offering:
- £13 per hour (£30,420 per annum)
- Hours of Work: Sunday to Thursday, 14:00 - 00:00
- 28 Days Holiday (including public holidays), rising to 30 days after 2 years' service
