Python, C#, React, Commodities Risk, Front Office, Microservices
My client are a leading global investment bank expanding an already high-performing team in London. You will join the Commodities Risk team, interfacing with both traders and the wider market risk function of the bank.
The proprietary trading platform is currently going through an exciting green-field re-engineering phase and my client is seeking to build out the development team. The front-office risk system calculates large volumes of results data, so there are considerable challenges in data modelling, processing & grid computing.
Only candidates able to work in the UK without visa sponsorship and who can commit to 3 days per week onsite in London will be considered.
Required skills:
- Excellent Python programming. The ideal candidate will come from a C#/.Net background but will have been working in Python for 4+ years
- Experience working in a fullstack capacity, ideally using React
- Experience with continuous integration and containerisation tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Microservices experience
- Prior experience working in the front office of a major financial institution is vital. You will have product/ domain knowledge of either Commodities, Risk, Derivatives or all three
