Resources/Media Officer

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a lovely secondary school in Haringey, which is seeking a Resources Officer for September(possibly mid-August).

This role would be great for someone with a Reprographics, Media or Art background and the focus of the role is to ensure that the media, reprographics and resources production is of the highest quality to support outstanding teaching and learning.

There will also be an element of working on the school website(training provided), to update press releases, publicity and communication materials.

The main duties include(but are not limited to):

  • Assist with the production of resources, inc. display and audio visual
  • Design and produce high quality materials that are readily available at short notice
  • Day to day maintenance of AV equipment
  • Using digital packages such as Google Drive/Classroom etc
  • Prepare AV devices for classroom use, such as cameras, digital equipment
  • Update the school website
  • Assist with the media resources budget and look at ways of keeping consumables cost-effective

The school is seeking someone with the following skills and aptitudes:

  • Excellent IT and AV skills, including in a range of IT programmes and creative design packages
  • Be prepared to do training for the website, ready for updates
  • Great Admin skills and ability to produce high quality materials, often at short notice.
  • A flexible and friendly approach, great communication skills as well as a can-do attitude

A background in AV or Reprographics (ideally in a school) would be perfect!

The hours for this role are 8am - 4.15pm, Monday to Friday.

The salary available for this role is £14-16 per hour, depending on your experience.

The role may start mid-August, but is definitely by September and will be until the half term break in October, where it may be extended after that.
