Intervention Tutor / Teaching Assistant
Tradewind are a leading education recruitment company based in St Albans that support Schools across the Home counties find the best in local staff. We are looking for an Intervention Tutor to support pupils at a modern and well run secondary school in Abbotts Langley. This is a full time role starting in September on a temporary to permanent contract. The role will include working primarily with pupils in year 7 supporting them with numeracy and literacy.

Tradewind Secondary are collaborating with a leading MAT for their site in Abbotts Langley. The role will be focused around supporting pupils starting year 7 and increasing their knowledge and learning ability with numeracy and literacy. You will be working on both 1:1 and small group basis supporting pupils of lower ability and / or with mild SEN requirements.
We are looking to speak with Intervention Tutors / Teaching Assistant who are :
- ** Experienced within education, tuition or SEN
OR
- ** A recent graduate or any subject with the desire to explore a career within education
- ** Posses strong Numeracy and literacy levels
- ** This post requires an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable), and professional reference checks. Tradewind can support with the process and it is expected you will cover the initial payment of £46 for the check, which will be reimbursed after working 20 days for Tradewind.
