Interim AP Manager, £200 a day, Hybrid

Our client are looking to hire an interim AP manager for a 6 month contract. There is potential for this to be extended longer term. The role is based in the office 3 days a week and 3 from home.

The role:

Procurement Operational Support

  • Oversee a team of 2 assistants to ensure the smooth delivery of the Accounts Payable function.
  • Purchase Order work flow management
  • New supplier on-boarding
  • Resolving issues identified as part of purchase order to invoice matching controls
  • Invoice coding
  • Data integrity and cleansing activities
  • Review and approval of employee expenses

Financial Reporting

  • Liaise with the cross functional teams for inputs related to month close process
  • Support to the wider finance operations team for month close AP-related activities

Audit Support

  • Liaise with the Group auditors to provide them with timely and accurate information requested.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good Accounts Payable exposure and Month end related activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic individual with the desire to push boundaries to achieve results.
  • Ability to manage the workload with minimal direction.
