We are seeking dedicated Support Staff for our school in Milton Keynes. Position: Support staff

Hours: 30 hours per week, flexible

  • Support Pupils: Assist children with diverse abilities in their educational journey.
  • Classroom Flexibility: Adapt to various classroom settings and pupil needs.
  • Specialist Skills: Implement strategies for working with pupils with Complex Learning Needs.

Key Requirements for SEN Support Staff in Milton Keynes:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience working with children of varying abilities.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Understanding of the national/foundation stage curriculum.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work across different classes with pupils of varying ages and needs.
  • Passion for SEN: A strong interest in and motivation for working with special needs children.
  • Proactive Learning: Ability to self-assess and seek out professional development opportunities.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate calmly and effectively with both children and adults.
  • Team Collaboration: Reflect on personal behaviour to promote team cohesion and effectiveness.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism and clear boundaries in school relationships.
  • Qualifications: Level 2 (GCSE) qualifications in English and Maths or equivalent competency in literacy and numeracy.

  • Policy Adherence: Willingness to fully understand and adhere to school policies and procedures.
