A successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Leeds is actively seeking a Senior Structural Technician to join their team. As a Senior Structural Technician, you will assist in leading one of their busiest structural teams where you will have opportunity to produce detailed designs for various projects, such as industrial, commercial, retail, residential and the public sector.
It is essential for the Senior Structural Technician to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:
- A relevant first-class degree. E.g., MEng in Structural Engineering
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of technical software such as Revit and AutoCAD
- Hold a full UK license
Duties and responsibilities for this Senior Structural Technician include:
- Coordinate projects and communicate effectively with design team members
- Providing technical engineering advice
- Working closely with design teams and other professionals on construction plans
- Inspecting buildings to assess their structural integrity
