Job Title:
Media and Graphics Tutor

York - Centre based
Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
- Hold - or be willing to work towards - a Level 3 teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent/above)
- Must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Media, Graphic Design or similar.
- Must have experience of utilising industry-standard Media and Graphic Design software.
Duties include:
- Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons in Media Production and Graphic Design, to learners working towards their NCFE Level 1 and 2 qualifications.
- Embedding of Literacy and Employability skills in to lessons.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
- Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
Personal Skills:
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
- Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
