The successful launch of our new visual identity and brand strategy last year has played a key part in raising the profile of our cause. Now we're building on that momentum - and successful, strategic creative development and execution of our brand is essential to maintain our reputation and credibility as a leading dementia charity.

This is an exciting opportunity to make your mark in a newly created role, leading our in-house design team in producing consistently excellent creative work and nurturing our brand. The Senior Creative Designer will work collaboratively with our copywriting, video, brand, fundraising and communications teams across the charity, to support income generation and extend our audience reach.

We're looking for someone who understands the power of great creative and exceptional leadership to inspire action and create a real and lasting change for everyone affected by dementia. Someone who has the drive to consistently deliver strategically focused strong creative that captivates our audiences.

You're an expert, hands-on, conceptually and strategically focused Senior Creative Designer with management experience, who will lead and inspire our busy design team, working closely with our Senior Creative Copywriter.

About you

  • Able to lead and inspire the creative response to design briefs and ensure all design work is aligned with the Alzheimer's Society brand and organisational strategies.
  • Able to work closely and collaboratively with our Senior Creative Copywriter to deliver creative concepts.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and implement organisational and brand strategies.

Person Specification

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to liaise with a diverse range stakeholders.
  • Experience in running workshops and coaching team and peers.
  • Strong presentation and organisational skills.
  • Experience of line management.
  • Be a self-starter and incredibly motivated.
