- Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Friday, 8:30 am - 3:45 pm

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join established contract packaging company. This role involves working closely with production line equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a focus on improving production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Setup: Prepare and configure a range of equipment for production processes, including filling, labelling, and shrink-sleeving.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Efficiency Monitoring: Track and assess line efficiencies, identifying and addressing issues to optimise production.
- Machine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are running safely and effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of production machinery.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair production line equipment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
