My client is on the lookout for a dedicated Recruiter to join our People Team, offering unparalleled people-centric support to our business. The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate attitude, excellent communication skills, and a solution-focused approach, ready to challenge the status quo and contribute to our inclusive and ethical work environment.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and understand recruitment needs.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including advertising roles, screening applications, arranging interviews/assessment centres, and creating job descriptions.
  • Act as a Company Ambassador at job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Engage with external providers to find effective recruitment solutions.
  • Proactively source candidates and build a talent pipeline.
  • Champion the Employer of Choice initiative, working towards accreditations and awards.
  • Assist with the management of apprenticeships in collaboration with the Director of People.
  • Coach and develop people managers in recruitment-related areas.
  • Contribute to Talent Management and Succession Planning initiatives.
  • Support the development of the People Assistant and HR Apprentice.
  • Perform KPI reporting and other departmental tasks as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong in house recruitment background with a focus on solutions.
  • Calm and composed demeanour with a willingness to delve into details for problem-solving.
  • Demonstrable experience in recruitment and talent management.
  • Ability to influence decision-making and problem-solve effectively.
  • Experience working in a small HR team and handling medium-scale recruitment campaigns.
