Job Title: Food Production Operative - Meat Department
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm (30 minutes unpaid break)
This position requires someone who can work independently as well as collaboratively with a team to achieve daily goals. You may also be asked to assist with other production-based tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and process various meats (chicken, pork, beef, lamb)
- Learn, operate, and monitor machinery safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain work areas to ensure hygiene standards
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to meet quality benchmarks
- Perform additional production-related tasks as required
- Work collaboratively with the team and independently to achieve daily targets
Skills and Qualifications Desired:
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Excellent attention to detail, especially when working with precise recipes
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain concentration
- Willingness to learn and take on responsibilities
- Physical stamina and strength, as the role may involve heavy lifting
