What you'll be doing

You will support the leading of Hardware design in support of Mission Systems projects and bids utilising state-of-the-art methods, technology and tools to explore all aspects of the development lifecycle, engineering analysis, requirements analysis, design, implementation, test, build and product support.

  • Preparing Production Manufacturing Data Packs
  • Implementing Configuration Management and control of hardware and documentation
  • Obsolescence management
  • Preparation of design Data Packs and documentation to support CE / UKCA marking
  • Preparation of Engineering Work Package Descriptions in support of Bids and during project execution
  • Support SEA products through manufacturing, assembly, installation and service life

The skills you need

  • Experience in the design and manufacture of Electro-mechanical Systems
  • Modification, fault find and repair of products
  • Ability to follow a methodical/systematic approach to analyse and solve problems, identifying key facts and breaking down complex information to components parts
  • Full lifecycle experience from requirements decomposition to acceptance and user sign off on multi-disciplinary programmes
