Junior Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Systems Analyst to join our Systems Management team. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, involving collaboration with stakeholders, analysis of systems, and development of insightful reports to inform business decisions.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Partner with business users and stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Analyse existing business processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop clear and concise documentation using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Assist in defining and justifying solutions that address business needs.
- Support the development, testing, and implementation of new or improved systems.
- Write queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in business analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Good A-Levels (GCSE Maths & English level 5 and above).
- Some prior experience in Financial Services is preferable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with SQL and Power BI is a plus.
- A basic understanding of business process modelling and data analysis techniques.
- Confident verbal communication skills.
- Team player with an exceptional eye for detail.
