Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an IT Support Apprentice to help support businesses in the South East to simplify, streamline and secure their IT systems. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join this support help desk team and work in a varied and busy professional environment.

Recognised as the longest established MSP in the area they offer a wealth of IT services such as - PC Support, IT Security & Hosted Services, Field Services and much more to diverse businesses both locally and throughout the UK.

Our esteemed client has been massively successful with apprentices over the past years, having successfully trained up 6 members of staff from apprentices. Most of which have been taken on as full- time employees following their training! They pride themselves on creating an environment which supports development of young IT professionals.

The role:

Possible start date: 29.07.2024

Monday to Friday - Shifts to be confirmed

Total working hours: 37.5

What you will do in your working day:

  • You will be working alongside the team of currently, 9 support staff.
  • Taking support tickets from customers, communising with the users, listening, and resolving their issues by remote access via their RMM and tracking system.
  • Work on special projects, investigating new technology and services.
  • Collaborating with other team members and individually.
  • They encourage staff to further their certifications by mentoring and paying fees. The team work closely together providing a great working environment.

The training you will receive:

  • Level 3 ICT qualification
  • All training is undertaken online, through a combination of self-paced eLearning and live online classes
  • Functional skills in English & maths if required

Future prospects:

  • The role offers a permanent role upon completion of the apprenticeship depending on performance.

GCSE or equivalent English (Grade A* - C 9/4) - Essential

GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade A* - C 9/4) - Essential
