A well-established sports and leisure company. A new position in the finance team has opened up in central London.
Your new role: Part-time Credit Controller, working within a finance team of four, reporting to the finance manager. This role is 5 days a week with working hours from 9am-1pm with only one day in office. Including some flexibility around these hours.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure payments are received in a timely manner
- Follow up on overdue payments from clients via email and telephone
- Take payments over the phone
- Ensure that you are hitting the targets set by your manager.
- Arranging sensible payment schedules for the client within the bounds of company policy
- Interact professionally with clients at all times
- Ensure accurate records are maintained
- Ad-hoc projects as required
Additional Responsibilities
- Using your organisational skills to manage a high volume sales ledger
- Create and present Excel spreadsheets to the finance manager
- Ability to build relationships with clients through your communication skills
What do you need to succeed?
- Excellent communication skills, including an exceptional telephone and email manner
- 1-2 years of recent experience in Credit Control.
- Intermediate Excel experience (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables)
- A high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
