We are Danecca - a specialist battery engineering company based in Silverstone, partnering with the likes of Scania, Vertical Aerospace, WAE, JLR, Lotus Group, Maple, Mercedes AMG & Yasa.

Recognised internationally for engineering excellence, we are headed up by our very smart Founder & MD, Danson, who holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering, ex National Grid and innovator at Jaguar Land Rover where he led the team that delivered the battery for the World Car of the Year 2019, the Jaguar I-Pace. Impressive. Yes... but Danson saw an opportunity to be better & innovate faster and thus in 2018 he founded Danecca.

And now we want you to impress us. Having grown organically to revenues of £3 million we have an ambitious plan to scale this to £10 million over the coming years.

This is where you come in.

We're seeking an experienced Sales Developer to parachute into the business and shake things up.

If you have passion for green energy, renewables, sustainability, purpose-built tech for good, coupled with a commercial prowess & grit to hunt-out & win new business opportunities, we've got a seat at the top table for you.

P.S. We don't expect you to be a battery techy or engineering whizz - if you have experience in this space, fab, but it's likely you'll have worked in the tech / SaaS space with a technical competence. We don't even expect you to be a stand-alone sales warrior. This is a collaborative role - you bring the new leads and convert them into a technical meeting, we'll wow them with our technical brilliance and together we'll close the deal.

The Opportunity:

Our tech has multi-application use within Automotive, Aerospace, Off Highway, Grid, Marine or anywhere else requiring engineered energy storage.

We have the knowledge and experience to help.

And we need you to communicate that. Simple as that...

We'll spare you the long list duties ripped from the job description - we can discuss that later.

But we do need to throw down what we think you'll need to succeed in this role:

+ 5-7 years of successful sales experience, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment
+ Proven track record of hitting sales targets
+ Passionate about energy, renewables, and environmental sustainability
+ Experience with MEDDIC or BANT qualification methods
+ Proficient in using CRM systems and sales tools - (ERPNext, Qwilr, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
+ Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently (Cliché we know but hey-ho)
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Willing to work from the office for most of the week
