SEN Tutor
Remedy Tutors are looking for an SEN tutor around the Chislehurst area to teach two twins together with SEN and anxiety.
The students will be taught together at their home - this will be 2 hours a day, 10 hours per week and is a long term ongoing role.
There is an EHCP for both student's that can be shared with a candidate if they are interested.
This SEN tutor role involves:
- Working with a child as a SEN Tutor that has Special Education Needs and providing face to face support to children with ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH or PMLD at their homes or a local centre e.g., town hall, library or a centre;
- planning lessons and resources around the student's needs. This could be in the core subjects or life skills;
- plan and deliver engaging sessions;
- apply skills to raise pupils' confidence;
- manage children with challenging behaviour;
- track the learning progress of the student as a SEN tutor to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide weekly reports
Experience working with SEND students and a valid enhanced child workforce DBS are both essential.
