Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with airlines, agents, customers and origin offices to arrange the smooth handling of shipments
  • Arranging collections for freight from the airline, arranging deliveries to customers and completing invoicing
  • Dealing with customer queries whilst supporting the customs team
  • Liaise with various branches to arrange their trucking requirements and managed the inbound Air Freight
  • Manage Air Import Shipments: Coordinate and oversee the entire air import process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Customs Compliance: Ensure all documentation and procedures comply with international customs regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Liaison with Stakeholders: Communicate effectively with airlines, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience within the Freight Forwarding industry .
  • In-depth understanding of CHIEF/CDS entried for Import/Export.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Highly organised and accustomed to working in a fast paced environment
  • Computer literate, knowledge of AS400 and ASM Sequoia advantageous
  • Understand requirements and operational procedures
