Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Stockport Daily rate: £85- £95
The Role:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? As a Teaching Assistant you must be confident in managing challenging behaviour.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant you must:
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
- Experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs and complex needs.
- Patience and empathy when working with children with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students.
- Excellent behaviour management skills.
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and best practices with the ability to adapt to any situation.
- Flexibility to work in different classes and subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one support to children with SEN, helping them to participate in all aspects of the curriculum.
- Supporting the educational and social development of children with special educational needs (SEN).
- Assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans for pupils.
