About the practice

This forward-thinking practice is now looking to complement their Architectural division with an independent Architectural Technologist, either at intermediate of senior level or ideally chartered. The bracket is open and ultimately, they are looking for someone who can work independently as well as get on with their sociable team. They have gone from strength to strength over the last 18 months and now have some really top architectural individuals working with them – if you want to be part of an ambitious and slowing growing team which can offer plenty of opportunity, this is the role for you.

This position now only brings the chance for you to progress, but the chance to work on a huge range of large and small, exciting projects, in both the private and public sectors. If you have experience working within the commercial, residential, leisure or industrial sectors, this could be the role for you, and the list doesn't stop there. With their core principles revolving around sustainable design and work enjoyment, this diverse practice is looking for an Architectural Technologist who loves their work and will bring plenty of enthusiasm along with them. They are a very outgoing and friendly practice with a great reputation for developing their staff.

In terms of software, they are looking for individuals with Revit, SketchUp and Photoshop experience. Microstation would be a huge bonus but not essential.

What they want from the successful Architectural Technologist?

  • Ideally be CIAT registered or working towards, not essential but desirable.
  • Professional qualification
  • Around 5 years' experience in a similar position
  • A solid background in AutoCAD and ideally Revit/BIM
  • Running your own projects or working towards
  • The ability to work in a range of sectors, residential and commercial.
