This Graduate Geotechnical Engineer position will involve a variety of roles and responsibilities. This includes: regularly attending and assisting with site walkovers, preparing phase plans, writing factual reports, working on in situ testing, borehole logging, groundwater and gas monitoring and observing day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental knowledge.
The successful Graduate Geotechnical Engineer will:
- Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, geoscience, environmental science, environmental engineering or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
- Been keen to learn and develop geotechnical skills.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Commutable to Durham.
- Full right to work in the UK.
