Our client, a pioneering technology business, they are seeking an Interim Finance Manager for a temporary 6-12 month role.. This role is crucial in supporting the company's finance operations, covering essential financial reporting, forecasting, and process improvements. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to work closely with leadership on high-impact projects in a listed company environment.

What you'll do:

As the Interim Finance Manager, your role will be pivotal in supporting the company's finance operations over the next 6-12 months. You will be responsible for enhancing financial processes, supporting statutory reporting requirements, and ensuring timely submissions with minimal disruption to the team. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing Group cash flow, overseeing statutory financial statements, leading the audit process, driving process efficiencies, and supervising a team of finance professionals.

  • Oversee monthly revenue analysis against budgets and forecasts
  • Prepare three-year budgets, updating monthly forecasts in collaboration with business partners
  • Manage Group cash flow and oversee statutory financial statements and AIM compliance
  • Lead the audit process for FY24 and support external auditors and tax advisors
  • Ensure all regulatory standards are met, providing accurate and timely information
  • Drive process efficiencies and system improvements
  • Manage ongoing transition to Xero and implement consolidated reporting tools
  • Supervise a team of three finance professionals
  • Mentor team members to foster development and professional growth

What you bring:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 3+ years in a similar role
  • Experience in listed companies and managing audits
  • Proficient in Xero and financial consolidation tools
  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative approach
