Class 1 Driver Night Shift
Basic rate - £ 24.58p/h
Overtime rate - £27.48 p/h

Rapier Employment Ltd is currently hiring a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver for our client Welham Green, Hertfordshire.
Immediate starts
Guaranteed 5 days a week work
Start times between 19:00PM - 05:00AM
Thursday – Monday or Friday – Tuesday
Overtime - £27.48 p/h
after 46.25 hours (weekly)
The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV Class 1 license, relevant experience in driving heavy goods vehicles, and a good understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods.
- Ensure timely delivery and collection of products.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies as well as company policies and procedures.
- Handle roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license (Held 1 year +).
- Minimum 6 month of experience as a Class 1 Driver.
- No more than six penalty points on licence and no major endorsement codes.
- In-date CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Digital Tachograph Card
- A good understanding of Drivers hours, Regulations, and Working time directive.
