Fire Door Carpenter

Experience:
- Experience in remediations and Installation of fire doors
- NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and joinery preferred not essential
- Knowledge of tools, equipment and materials common to the passive fire Industry
- Must have a valid driving Liencse
Salary/ Benefits:
- PAYE Payment

- All plant tools supplied for example drills, steps, ladders and heavy-duty power tools
- Weekend working available
- Availability to out of hours call out rota
- Pay time and half rate for evenings and Saturday working hours
- Pay double time for nighttime, Sunday and Bank Holidays
Job Role:
Complete day to day works to a high standard and are in line with the relevant FRA action working within safety regulations, work policies and passive fire regulations and standards. Must have good written and verbal communication skills and have a high level of technical knowledge across the passive fire Industry.
The main duties of a passive fire Carpenter include:
- Door maintenance and upgrade works, surveys and door installation works.
- Inspection of existing fire door and identifications of defects
- Providing high level of customer care
- Producing installation reports for works completed on site.
