Orka Financial is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a diverse Finance function, the position is located within the Reading area and would suit a proactive AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier who is seeking an opportunity to grow and develop and be part of an exciting business.
The Finance Assistant role will be responsible for a range of day to day finance duties working closely with senior management supporting the finance team with Accounts Payable processes and reporting activities.
- Matching POs to invoices and resolving issues
- Processing one-off payments and posting cash book journals
- Posting monthly fixed asset depreciation and reconciliation
- Reconciliation of credit card supplier account and chasing of credit card returns
- Ad hocAP queries (internal and external)
- Closing AP sub-ledger for month end
Candidate profile
- Knowledge of Accounts Payables processes
- AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier
- Supporting a finance team
Salary £25,000 - £28,000 - on-site parking - career progression
