SEN Teaching Assistant - Westminister

Are you looking for a new role working in an all-through SEN school as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Westminister? If so, this may be the perfect role for you!

I am currently working alongside all-through SEN schools who are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to work across either primary or secondary supporting students aged 2 to 19 with a range of needs including Autism, MLD, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, SEMH and medical needs etc.

The position is based in Westminister and will be full time or part time starting immediately till the end of the academic year or the new academic year in September. The position is between £90 to £100 daily rate depending on your experience.

The position:

You will be working across either primary or secondary depending on your experience in mixed classes, providing 1:1 support in classes of up to 8 students under the supervision of the Class Teacher and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants. Personal care may be involved in this role.

The ideal candidate:

  • Will be willing to work in a special needs setting
  • Have experience working with children or young people
  • Be willing to carry out personal care (feeding, changing, toileting)
  • Can work from 08:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Be patient, reliable, and nurturing
  • Be able to trial and/or interview immediately
