Murray McIntosh is currently recruiting for an Mechanical Project Engineer to work on a contract basis for a client of ours as detailed below.
This role requires on site working 12 hours days Monday - Friday as a standard week.
This project will require use of staircases and a working height of 35 metres. You will be trained to work at heights with harness training.
We require candidates who are eligible to obtain SC clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and management of the hands-on project resource for all mechanical project activities.
- Overseeing 5 crane engineers who will carry out the execution of schedule of works.
- Act as a link between installation engineers/fitters and the delivery manager
- Report issues, risks & requirements in a timely & effective manner
- Support physical installation to ensure adherence to the schedule when risks or issues occur during the on site installation works.
- Signing off on installation works
Experience:
- 3 - 5 years + experience in similar role
- Mechanical degree or equivalent qualification
