Your new role
An interim assignment focussed on information governance for a public sector organisation.
- Managing a high quality access to information governance (i.e. Freedom of Information, Environmental Information Regulations, Subject Access Requests, Re-use of Public Sector Information, Inspire Regulations and Data Protection enquiries) service.
- Carrying out the necessary functions for the Data Protection Officer of the organisation, ensuring the obligations of the Data Protection Regulations are upheld and that it handles data within the confines of the law.
- To assist and advise other departments on information management and data protection, including carrying out internal reviews, dealing with ICO complaints, data protection impact assessments and training.
- To support and manage a team of Information Governance Officers.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have a background in public sector information governance at a senior level.
