Our client, a not-for-profit organisation, are looking for a Resource Planning Manager to join their fast-paced and rapidly growing team. In this newly created role as a Resource Planning Manager, you will be responsible for identifying fundamental asset management & planning issues, bringing rigorous analytical thinking into the business and support the business to run more efficiently and maximise the field-based engineering resource.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Resource Planning Manager, you will be:

  • Leading and maximising data, asset management and planning reporting and analytics capability through the ownership of existing software along with real time engagement
  • Presenting new ideas, management information, analysis and insights at a senior level to lead and influence strategic discussions and strategic objectives
  • Delivering business insight across multiple delivery streams through consistency of taxonomy
  • Enhancing quality of planning works and optimise the ratio of engineers within the national business
  • Developing and maximising capacity modelling to drive recruitment optimisation and reduce costs
  • Developing productivity incentivisation schemes for engineering performance delivery and performance coaching for key stakeholders
  • Managing the recruitment, performance management and development of staff to ensure that the resources are managed effectively to meet business needs

WHAT YOU NEED

To be considered for the role of Resource Planning Manager, you will need:

  • Wealth of experience of data modelling tools and techniques
  • Proven experience in a similar role around resource planning of teams (field-based or call centre)
  • Full, current UK driving licence
  • Experience of operating systems like WFM and ERP systems, ideally SAP
  • Experience of establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders
  • Applied knowledge of working within a regulated industry
  • Experience of producing management information reporting
  • Comprehensive experience of managing projects with strong project management skills
  • Must be commutable to Hull and happy to work in a hybrid role
