Service Advisor required for our client, a well-established manufacturer and distributor of clean and waste water pumping systems, with their head office based in Gloucester.
Due to ever expanding requirements with their service department, our client has an opportunity for an individual with experience of administration, coordination, and scheduling to join their team, based out of their offices in Gloucester.
The successful Service Advisor will have a background within administration and customer-facing roles, and will ideally have experience working in a role that involves direct communication with engineers, technicians, and customers/clients.
Service Advisor Position Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for customers and clients both for incoming calls and email requests relating to planned and reactive works
- Liaising with engineers to schedule their jobs and providing them with all documents, permits, and tools/supplies they need to complete their work
- Preparing quotations and sales orders in order for prompt invoicing
- Pro-actively suggesting additional services related to the customer/client's needs
Service Advisor Position Requirements
- Previous experience working in an administration role within an engineering setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and literacy
- IT-competent, with a strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, and any experience with CRM systems is highly desirable
- Based within a commutable distance of Gloucester
Service Advisor Position Remuneration
- Salary £25,000 - £30,000, negotiable depending on experience
- Hybrid working available
- 30 days holiday, including bank holidays
